These paintings are mostly re-created from Photographs, animals simply do not listen when you ask them to stand still because you are trying to paint them !!  I do like to try and keep them real. In particular, I love painting the eyes, even in photos; the eyes draw you in.  Again, these are a mix of Oil and Acrylic, on canvas or canvas board, often with an underpainting in acrylic and layering over in oil.
